He studied at the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Rennes and later in Paris, specializing in ceramics after the Second World War. In 1947, he continued his training at the Fontcarrade School of Ceramics near Montpellier.<\/p>\n<p>During the 1950s, he established himself as one of the creative ceramists of the post-war period in France.
