      Biography:

Founded in Paris in 1837, Hermès initially specialized in luxury saddlery and leather goods, before expanding in the early 20th century into the production of decorative objects and porcelain or ceramic tableware.

For its faience creations, Hermès collaborated with Ravinet d’Enfer, the renowned Limoges manufacturer, producing high-quality tableware, vases, and decorative objects featuring graphic or floral motifs, often signed Hermès.

From the 1950s to the 1980s, Hermès strengthened its identity in luxury and interior design, combining artisanal craftsmanship with modernity and contributing to the rise of contemporary French decorative arts.
