Founded in Paris in 1892 by the four Lacloche brothers, Lacloche Frères established itself on rue de la Paix in 1901, at the heart of the city’s prestigious jewellery district. The Maison soon attracted an illustrious clientele of royalty, aristocrats and international collectors, while also opening branches in London and Madrid.

Lacloche reached its height during the 1920s. The Maison became particularly renowned for its Art Deco jewellery, vanity cases, clocks and precious objets, as well as its celebrated bracelets inspired by Egyptian, Persian and Asian art. Its creations were distinguished by exceptional gemstones, refined craftsmanship and remarkable decorative inventiveness.

Following the closure of Lacloche Frères in the early 1930s, Jacques Lacloche, a nephew of the founders, revived the family name in 1936 with a new boutique on Place Vendôme. He continued its tradition of elegance while embracing a more modern style, until the Maison closed permanently in 1967. Today, Lacloche remains one of the most sought-after names in twentieth-century French jewellery.
