Albert Thiry (1932–2009) was a French ceramicist and an important figure in post-war modern ceramics. Based in Vallauris from the 1950s, he developed, alongside his wife Pyot, a distinctive body of work characterized by refined forms, graphic and figurative decoration, and richly textured glazes in natural tones. His work is closely associated with the revival of French ceramics from the 1950s to the 1970s.
