      Biography:

Founded in Paris in 1837, Hermès initially specialized in luxury saddlery and leather goods before expanding in the early 20th century into decorative objects and tableware, including porcelain and ceramics.

For its tableware creations, Hermès notably collaborated with Ravinet Denfert, the renowned Limoges manufacturer, producing high-quality services, vases, and decorative objects with graphic or floral motifs, often signed Hermès.

From the 1950s to the 1980s, Hermès consolidated its identity in luxury and interior design, combining artisanal craftsmanship with modernity, and contributing to the development of contemporary French decorative arts.
